I've seen reverse swing with 2 new balls in almost all the games played in Australia. Every full yorker after the 35th seems to reverse a little bit.

It's never really reversed in NZ.
Its probably not reverse if its happening after the 17th over for each ball in grounds like these. Or we aren't seeing some dirt being removed from the balls. Probably the idiot commentators not being able to tell conventional and reverse swing apart and you believing them.:p

It happens a fair bit.

No, I've actually seen it, literally, with my own 2 eyes on television.

Lets be honest, when was the last time we saw regular reverse swing in ODIs even before the 2 new ball rule? Late 90s? ODIs take place in grounds with good quality grass and the balls stopped getting roughed up enough to reverse a long time ago. Reverse swing in ODIs had become the exception a while back before the rule change.
haha what? Zaheer reversed it right throughout the 2011 WC, there was defo revers before the 2 new balls. Maybe not of the same quality as the 2 W's but still.

Reverse swing shouldn't be a factor at all in ODIs. The balls are 25 overs old at the end of an innings FFS!

I don't know if my view of cricket is too 'Ye Olde', but as far as I'm concerned bowlers should be swinging the thing conventionally for more than the first 2 overs from each end. Seriously, Greg Blewett used to hoop outswingers all through the innings.
