4th Match - Australia v England

Starfighter

Not opening the bowling with Ben Dwarshuis either iirc
Seems to have opened to me. Point is this is an attack that isn't international standard. Short and Maxwell vs Livingstone and Root for the fifth bowler probably balances out, though Livingstone at least turns it the other way. The batting really really unsettled too, England's didn't cover themselves in glory in India but they were better than ours against SL.

A great catch from Carey without the gloves, almost as good as Phillips catch.

Dwarshuis couldn't believe his luck, he probably thought that was going for 4.

I wonder if Macaulay Culkin’s promotion is at least in part with a view to eventually seeing him up that high in the Test team, I know there is an immediate wish for Root to come in later, but there has also been some (rather premature!) talk of him eventually being a Test number 3 too

International Debutant
Probably the worst Australian bowling attack ever in a major tournament but England will still eff this up.

Are they? I don't follow the pyjama **** at all and assumed these randoms are people who've actually got about 100 ODIs behind them - something that often happens when I don't recognise a name.

Prior to this match, Johnson and Dwarshuis had bowled 37 overs in ODIs between them. Ellis is the experienced one, playing in his 10th ODI today.
