Pollock, dear sire. Pollock. Sad that people don't even know his name. One of the best all-rounders and Bowlers ever.
Apologies.

The difference being Mcgrath having done what Polly did across many more matches, years, and took many more wickets.

:-)

and Sir Garry played for twenty years(and 5 days tbf) and was exemplary for most of his career. It is hardly his fault that Tests aren't played as much then as they are now. Kallis has played for fourteen years(IIRC) been an astounding Batsman(though, I think we will both agree that Sobers was the better bat, though by not a margin like people seem to suggest) and both were more than handy with the ball. If Kallis has to be considered as good as Sobers, he has to play on for 4-6 more years IMO. So when Kallis bashes 254 on his 40th Bday against the World XI, Let's talk. :p

and Yes, Sobers was one of the greatest fielders to ever grace the game.

Its the opinion of thousands of cricket fans from all over the world. If u ignore it,means you belive that only u can be right. If u have to ignore, people's opinion, better not have the polls & gave your view straight on.Sambit Pal once again proved him to be a very biased writer there.Wasim has a similar case to Sobers in the regard that Sobers was a great batsman who could bowl whereas Wasim was a great bowler who could bowl.I would put neither of them in my top 5.
But the 'thousands of cricket fans from all over the world' had Wasim in their top 3 according to that poll. And you disagree with it. So, going by your own logic, you're ignoring it and you believe that only you can be right, and thus stand guilty of what you're accusing me of. Holy mother of contradictions.

Whatever it takes!!!
It is a wonderful world to live in where you got an opinion and you insist it is fact even though the majority of the world are against it... :p
