3rd Match - South Africa v Zimbabwe

The opening bowlers are much better than the other bowlers though. The third and fourth seamers as well as the best spinner are batsmen who bowl, and the third specialist bowler selected bowls pies.
So we can pencil in the AB double now then?

Imagine if he was still a thing.
He is still a thing. He's still dire most of the time though. He's never been able to sustain his rhythm; he still has his ups and downs. He's not really changed as a player since he debuted; he just only gets picked when the moons have aligned and he's temporarily not dire.

Mupariwa being picked for this game instead of Kamungozi would've been helpful.

Haha Zimbabwe have firmed from 15.00 to 4.50 since the start of the game. Perfect time to cash out, methinks.

Cheers for your work, opening bowlers. (Y)

Does Elton use himself sparingly now that he is the skipper? Used to be decent with the ball but haven't been following him off late.

Elton's very erratic from game to game as a bowler. Some days he bowls okay (especially to lefties) and some days he bowls complete tripe (especially to righties), owing largely to his massive technical fault that can cause him to lose all momentum and spray everything down leg as his head drops away. I think he tends to know best when he's going to send down something decent which is a big positive of having him as captain, but it does make it hard to balance the side sometimes.
