For a guy with such a high-risk approach, Hardik's shots rarely look hack-y. I can see why they keep putting faith in him to come good in Tests as well.

One does not need to see Hardik batting in this match to realize he should be India's number five if he is in the team (in this WC squad) yet, as is usual in Indian cricket, once you have a sentimental favorite (read God) (be it Gavaskar, Kapil, Sachin, or Dhoni) never talk about their being replaced by anyone let alone a young 'upstart'.
