What's happening with this team is you know that Bangladesh won't be in a strong position until Shakib and Mushfiqur come to the crease. The top order does a decent job at best and there is no one who has the ability to take the game away from opponents right from the beginning on a consistent basis.

When you have that aggressive batsman at the top it solves two issues of setting a good platform for your team and also making a statement to opponents that the team is not just reliant on our no.5 and 6.
