They should try bowling well. Firstly, as they're not that fast, secondly, because bowling a searing spell too short will get you only one wicket rather than three or four.

not fast , just punishingly tight and hard to get away - play the slow wickets with seam work well (Siddle is a canny bowler that has learned a lot playing in the UK local games)
