Both tests turned around their respective countries fortunes in the series.

India faced a deficit of 270 odd. Laxman, Dravid batted the whole day and then India bowled Australia out in less than a day to give them a memorable victory.

England came from a loss at lords. Flintoff batted brilliantly and was scoring fours, sixes everywhere. It looked like an England victory, then Lee, Warne co brought Australia almighty close however England just found a spark and won by two runs.
