That’s a really good session for Australia. About as good as they could expect in the circs. Handy not having to start before lunch as well. A slight opening in the game but still a long way behind with the way the top order has been going.

you're never quite as far in front of the game as you think if you have a 6-out all-out lower order

Thought Australia were pretty rubbish in execution that session though despite the good results. Set defensive fields early, got pretty carried away with the short stuff and still dropped a catch.

Good fight bk here oz. I was thinking an Indian lead of at least 150 would've put them in the driver's seat. 130 is still ok. Now oz has to set a minimum target 150 to stay competitive, 200 to make india sweat and 250+ will be almost impossible...imo

150+ target will make Australia favourites. India are atrocious at 4th innings chases.
