Howard not having a spine is both a blessing and a curse depending on who he's commentating with. With a decent one he can get interesting answers out of his co-commentators, with a bad one he just lets them run ragged.

Nah. He is probably the luckiest **** in commentary history though, got a gig on the BBL as the better Ten commentators had left to other stations or commitments and used the success of the BBL to make him a big name.
