Labu plays cricket like a guy who manually saves video games every 2 minutes and keeps reseting to the latest save file at the slightest error or hint of discomfort. The anti-flow batsman. I love it.

How the hell has Jos Buttler played 54 tests already? If you'd asked me to guess I'd have said around 20.

I thought he was worth a shot to replace Bairstow when that decision was made, but I now realise at 54 tests he's about as promising as young Shaun Marsh and young Martin Guptill.

If England could do something today to make this match and series not horribly one-sided, that would be nice thanks.

Whatever it takes!!!
Australia are going to be way better prepared for their away tours than we are giving them credit for here. With Marnus, Head and Green, they already have a leggie, an offie and a fast medium bowler in their top 6. As long as the captains work out how to utilize the part time spinners properly and how to manage Green's workload, they will have pretty fresh bowlers most of the time. If they can figure out the best second spinner, they will be pretty competitive in SC. I guess the bigger issue is their batting and whether Steve Smith finds form.

I hope can lift the scoring rate quite a lot today. I can imagine Smith will want to declare to give at least a good chunk of the last session, but I'm not a fan of declaring on only 400 or so just to do so.

That is if we don't collapse, which is entirely possible with his batting lineup.

Tbf 54 Tests is only like 3 years of cricket for England

I think Agar could do a job in the SC. Openers who can score against spin is the issue

Getting the sense this is going to be a big hundred for Marnus, now the 2nd newie is getting older, it's ****ing hot and he's living on life 3/4/5 whatever it is past 100.

Think the next 30 mins to an hr determine if this will be 5-0 or something a little less humiliating. Stokes has to be brought on shortly to "talisman" one of these out.
