Might as well at this stage. Butler's not going to be able to do this on his own, he needs robinson to get comfortable at the crease. If it was like 15 overs remaining its a different story.
looks like he really is going to try and do this on his own.

it’ll be a shame if he decides he can’t go ham at some point. as set as he is now, he could score a looot of runs in a real hurry if he chose to here

if only there was some mechanism by which australia could’ve made england follow their first innings on with a second innings with the bat again so they would’ve been sent in the night of day three. maybe call it something like the “bat again”

guys buttler will nick off when it gets nervy when there's like 10 overs remaining and then the fast bowlers will get a second wind and bounce+york broad and anderson

why have anyone away from the bat fielding? get psychological and make them feel like they are claustrophobic with men all around the batter

Starc should throw in a few slower balls and whatever, and at the very least get them to play forward.
Yeah I don't think Australia's threw up enough short balls. They're bowling well but I don't think they've bowled quite correctly for how England want to play.
