The Wheel is Forever
They're scared. The whole lot of them.
Who is they? India want to play cause truncated game hurts them batting first because they don’t know the targets to set. England want to play to make use of the conditions as it was swinging a lot for Bumrah in practice. Broadcasters want to play cause of $$$. Who DOESN’T want play?

this is idiotic. Why not at least have the toss?
Because they need conditions to be fit for play before tossing. Teams can then assess the outfield, pitch, run-ups and weather conditions and decide what they want to do

You might as well ask why don't they toss the night before at the hotel room

I was merely commenting on the gap between the toss and the start of play... it's wasteful lol

International Captain
It's a pitch it up wicket as expected. Hard work to smash through the line on this. Think it's a decent wicket to bowl to Rohit on. He's lethal at rocking back and smashing good lengths on flatter tracks.
