These last few overs have been a good example of why I don't really like watching spin. What am I missing here?
With pace you have the physical battle of cricket. Reflexes, courage, strength. Bowling pace is all about beating the batsmen by bowling something he can't react to well enough. Batting against pace is all about be fearless and decisive, about reflexes and shot selection.

With spin, you have the mental battle. Patience, intelligence. Bowling spin is about bowling something that deceives the batsman. Beating him in flight, in turn. Batting against spin is about reading the ball, footwork, about having the technique and mentality to score.

Anyways, hate that India are potentially wasting their review on Finch of all batsmen. He isn't a big threat now. Let him be he'll get out soon.

Did this hit him in line is the question.

What turn? Or is me asking that going to be responded to with "exactly"?
Yeah exactly. :p

You're missing the turn. The bowlers aren't getting any. They would in other conditions.. and better spinners would here. Spin bowling isn't much fun to watch without turn unless someone is a real master of flight.

Wow. Very close.
I seriously don't get why teams keep wasting their reviews on 'close' decisions. They don't have to spend the thing in the innings ffs! Review it if the umpire misses a massive inside edge, not for borderline "was it in line or on the line of off stump" decisions.

You'd think professional cricketers would have learned this by now.

That makes sense. I suppose I just don't fully understand spin bowling yet. But I could talk all day about different kinds of breaking balls in baseball.
