Struggling to understand why we don't do our own version of the Ashes with Ireland every summer. Suppose actually getting our playere released from county duty could be problematic but it would be a start.

edit: talking an annual 3 game ODI series, could throw in some T20s.
Bangladesh and Afghanistan should play for the Tiger Cup and rope in UAE and Nepal for ODI s when they can.

Different scenario as NZ were pushing for a high net run rate, and the pitch that was played on at Dunedin was a lot more spritely than this one.
Sky had a graphic up when they were doing the Verdict and Bob Willis was lamenting how pish England's seamerd have been - apparently Scotland's seam attack statistically has been the 4th or 5th best seam attack so far.

We're rapidly moving into 'this is winnable' territory.
