No chance of it gaining rained out, if the met guys are to be believed.
Yeah there'll be overs lost but enough time to get a second innings.

Would take a miracle for Bangladesh to win here but a favourable D/L distribution might give them a boost.

good thing they don't then
Well it’s the same principle - that’s absolutely what they should have been aiming to score.

There’s more than a good chance you’ll still win this game but if Bangladesh chase it with two balls to spare you can hang your hat on that moment

If a match is abandoned do runs scored still count for stats?
Yes

Games not going to be abandoned tho. They only need to get 20 overs of play in the second innings IIRC, and it would have to rain long and hard to prevent that from happening

Speaking of the crowd; holy **** did they bugger off quickly in the rain. Where is there to go there?

This crowd has been doing many things "but enjoying the cricket" has not been high on the list
Yea idk who you are to judge how people enjoy themselves or whether or not they actually are doing so.

I just found it funny people who talk **** about their own team on the internet for amusement were annoyed at fans who do the complete opposite at the ground. Read Starfighter's posts during this WC and you'd think he's on the edge of offing himself, and somehow that's okay but myopic, nationalistic fans who paid to be at the ground and won't cheer a Warner six are the nuisance. Two sides of the same coin IMO.

Not a slight on you directly, it was that constant line of posting that I was mocking.

Personally I hope we do get a game. Be a shame for Aus to be denied 2 points here because it's England in June.
