Will be funny in a cruel sort of way if this match and all of India's remaining matches get rained off and they fail to qualify.

No statesman-like umpire left in the game. Nas spot on; too premature to be giving out official warnings.
To my understanding, the soft warnings last for the whole tournament - so if Amir was warned in an earlier game, the umpires won't bother with it in a later game.

The 20 over target is 184. Quite makeable with a wet outfield and two legspinners.

How did you get 184?
The DL app which I have is showing 20 over target as 195. Not impossible but certainly very challenging.

Virat reaches 11K runs in 54 innings less than Sachin and 64 innings less than Ricky. Even accounting for era adjustments, that is *****ng awesome.

328 off 46 seems a little generous to India, not that I think it'd matter much to the result.

Kohli was still in though.

Edit - wait Pakistan would have 46 overs to chase that tota l? Right that is odd

yes, he is a legend, but the difference in quality attacks is evident in this world cup - mostly a bunch of pro pie chuckers - all teams and unhelpful pitches for bowlers. But the fact they are pie chuckers, doesnt help, the unhelpful pitches is just an excuse that pie chuckers give.

These factors alone have boosted his average by atleast 10 points, if not his average would be like Bevan, around 50-53 area, still at the top.

Kohli never had to face a Beanpole jagger like Ambrose, or a 150kph bowler like Donald. Or a toe crushing Waqar. Or a left arm reverse swinging prodigy like Akram. Or quality spinners like Murali and co. Sachin and Ponting had to face all of them. This boosts his average atleast 10 points.

The best bowler he had to face was Steyn. And Steyn's been mostly off/on injured the past 5 years, and absolutely nil global pace depth behind him.

That is utter garbage if so.
