I think dropping one of them would benefit the teamTBH. It's just one of those things where the other bowlers might snap into gear knowing that bowlers can get dropped for being ineffectual.

I would be happy with Hales, Jordan and Tredwell in for Ballance, Anderson and Finn. I know Finn's got a good average, but clearly he isn't as bowling as good as his tournament average suggests.

Dropping Anderson but not Broad would be bat**** insane. Broad has been **** in ODIs for ages; Anderson had been awesome for a couple of years leading into this WC.

Yea Anderson has been among the best new ball ODI bowlers for some time now - just hasn't been doing it in the WC. Broad maybe but Anderson should never be dropped.

Agreed. We certainly can't drop both of them and if one is for the chop it would be Broad not Jimmy. Broad still has plenty of cricket left in him and it might be the shake up he needs.

Still don't think anything we have on the bench will do any better though.

Broad is more useful in my bowling unit and I think he would respond well to being top dog. Statistically you are correct if we are basing this off a couple of years though, but I'm not.
