State Captain
bailey and hazlewood have been dropped to make way for clarke and cummins

for NZ, wonder why they persist with milne. he's pretty average, and they have world class mclenaghan waiting for no reason.

Yeah he hasn't been a liability but if he doesn't improve he won't stay in the side. Apparently he's been bowling deliberately within himself due to injury though.

Bushranger

School Boy/Girl Captain
Yeah the October ODI series v SA is not something I lose much sleep about given:
a) Taylor and KW were missing
b) NZ were being highly experimental with their batting at the time - James Neesham was opening
c) It was New Zealand's first ODI cricket in more than 6 months
Both sides have changed dramatically since 2013 just think the fact that warner, smith,Clarke and watto havnt even fired yet and we still are beating teams, I'm so looking forward to this one as me step sisters are moari, so there's plenty riding on this game for our family I havnt lived down all blacks wins for like forever and nz win this well let's just say phone will be going off

Not exactly badly, but slower than usual and not particularly threatening.
I've now heard from 3 different people (one being Howsie), that Milne will be back around the 150km vicinity (and not early 140s) today having been bowling at around 80% since returning from his latest injury.

Haha, don't worry. Was just an extension of the joke about both girlfriends being yours. If they were, you wouldn't exactly want them together. :p
Ah, this is true. Unless I was there as well of course....then having the two together wouldn't be so bad at all. ;)

Cricket, Lovely Cricket
Martin Crowe will be at the ground watching. Probably going to be the last international game he watches live. I love how he has been covering cricket and writing and commenting all he can.

Can't wait for the game to start.
