I've corrected the WPM figures - poorly scribbled data on my scrap paper. However, Oram's 32.92 bowling average is the figure given by Howstat (where I gather data). Fixed the WPMs but left the average.Your stats are off for last 2 added. Watson has 1.27 WPM (you have 1.21), while Oram bowling average is 33.05 and 1.82 WPM (you have 32.92 and 1.32)
That's interesting: cricinfo has him as bowling an 8-run over that Howstat lacks. I wonder how and where that discrepancy crept in.I've corrected the WPM figures - poorly scribbled data on my scrap paper. Take away that innings and he barely averages 20 in Tests.Akram (If Hammond is an all-rounder with 44.5 avg vs Australia, so is Akram with a 257*)
MaCartney (27 bowling avg and a WPM of 1.3, despite ataraxia's point I think he looks an all-rounder over careers to me)
de Grandhomme (Pretty Good, should definitely had been ahead of Oram)
Well if you're doing that to Akram then you could also take out McCartney's 11 wkt Test so he then averages 34 with the ball and drops to 1.0 WPMTake away that innings and he barely averages 20 in Tests.
Oram was a much better batsman, while CDG was a better bowler (and was part of a better bowling attack).de Grandhomme (Pretty Good, should definitely had been ahead of Oram)
