I was absent from the forum for sometime and missed the initial part/dates for submission. Are entries closed?In 2022 we had two separate polls to determine the Top 40 Pace men and the Top 30 spinners.
The results are readily available but there are obvious anomalies. For instance Barnes and Bedser, two excellent bowlers, missed out simply because they weren't regarded as true quicks. In addition, current players such as Cummins, Bumrah, Ashwin etc may be more highly regarded than they were 2 years ago.
To conduct this poll I will ask CW members to nominate 3 players on a 3,2,1 basis to determine the first 3 on our new ranking list. I will allow 3 or 4 days for voting and then declare the first 3 positions. Following that the process will be repeated to determine the next 3 spots. This will continue until a Top 50 is established.
Any questions? If not, I'll declare the poll open in a few hours from now.
In this case: (Tests only ,right?)We are doing a survey of bowlers in general, so you need to list your top 3 rather than separating them into categories.
those are already done my dudeIn this case: (Tests only ,right?)

this is where they’re at now so you would be voting for 32, 33 and 34The votes are in and, each round, we have a greater diversity of players. However, the leader in this round is very clear cut.
42 - Roberts; 16 - Rabada; 14 - Tayfield, Bumrah (both with identical votes, so both share position 30); 12 - Bedser; 7 - Adcock;
6 - Gibbs; 5 - Philander, Underwood, Jadeja; 2 - Lyon; 1 - Umar Gul, Hazelwood, Thomson, Venkatapthy Raju.
Roberts is down 2 places on the pacers 2022 poll while Rabada is up 8 spots and Bumrah leaps up 11 places.
In the 2022 spinners poll, Tayfield is down one place.
I can declare voting open for places 32 to 34.
