... and looks like Auckland have decided they don't want to get caught in rush hour traffic on their return from Hamilton ....
And Southee still can’t pick up more then two wickets in a match…

I went down and watched the end of play last night. Hampton looked like he was bowling quicker. Going to be a long series for Tim I think.

I reckon J McKay myst have about 75% of his career wickets from bouncers. Therefore I enthusiastically clicked on CR McLachlan b McKay for a rare occurrence of what must obviously be a 'pitch it up' wicket.

50 for Ajaz

Otherwise as commented above, a lot of bad second innings dismissals this round. Though excuse W O'Donnell as that ball from Hampton seamed a mile, might even have missed leg.

They did call it off during tea.

But, should withhold 1/12th of their match fees IMO. That is $3500 for 12 players for a session of cricket.

Getting paid like they're in a subsidized trickle-down professional pyramid.

But captains acting like it is amateur 1980s. Knocking off for early beers.

Only 8 games a season lads. You could have declared and bowled at 2 young openers (Parkes and Cumming) for an hour. And contributed to the pyramid that is the reason you're paid.

Piss poor.

Calling out this wastefulness.
