McPeake on the other hand is the least aesthetic cricketer of all time. Looks like a bloke who learned to bowl hurling rocks around a quarry.
He's mediocre at best. Hasn't really ever got any better. I'm staggered he's still selected tbh. He seems to be selected more frequently in T20s than ever, yet his stats are atrocious. I don't get it.

I'm guessing he means Shane van Gisbergen.

For unaesthetic bowling actions I have J Sussex and W Clark - both step to offside with their front leg and then push the ball back the other direction towards the stumps. More straight lines pls.

Will be annoying if Jacobs isn't available for Auckland's game today because of being part of the NZ/SL series squads.

O'Rourke and Jamieson opening with Shipley first change - fitness permitting could be a dream NZ boring attack.

Oh yeah and Gus McKenzie too.......

Auckland playing about 4 bowlers opposite Canterbury's 7 is an excellent troll.

We might get the five-peat for Canterbury later in the competition, with Henry and Foulkes joining the Fulton-coached two-metre club. If that eventuates I can only hope they play Gus McKenzie, purveyor of yorkers, too.
