There was other bits of big brained cricket from Tasmania too earlier:

* Owen trying to take on McAndrew when it was 7 off 9 with only bowlers left in the shed, when he had already hit a 6 in the same over.
* Neil-Smith and Bell accepting a single when it was 7 off 6 and only two wickets were left, when Neil-Smith is a legit bowling all-rounder (at least in theory).

Just munted stuff. To think that it looked like SA was doing the choking for most of the day!

It says a fair bit about NSW that Edwards undeservedly played purely as a batsman for quite a while when he's a far better bowler.
