Does nothing for Aus whiteball and can't get a gig in SA Shield side but...

Jake Fraser-McGurk goes for $1.65 million in IPL auction

He’ll be filthy getting strangled down leg by former parramatta team mate Dermo Sabba Abbott.
No doubt about that. Played damn well up until then, but yeah getting out to someone he would know pretty well from grade would make it sting just that bit more.

As for South Australia, must say they fought back pretty well after such a horrible start to the batting innings. Can't see there being that play at Adelaide Oval today though, looks like it's about to absolutely piss down any minute

Good start from NSW here

Agree with the comments back earlier in the thread that Tasmania not picking Meredith for this game was a bit of an odd call. Partly on account of the point of difference his extra pace provides, but also he's actually bowled genuinely well for the most part when he has played this season, which isn't something you could always say of him in the past

Hardly an ideal situation when Mitch Owen is unironically the fastest bowler in your attack

Mitchell Owen is extremely quick for such a shithouse bowler tbf.

Yeah fair call. Wonder what his top speed would be? Fastest I can recall seeing him clock at was about 137 in the BBL, but seeing as he generally only bowls one expensive over per game it's hard to be sure

Played a couple of seriously handy (albeit chancey) Shield innings in his shortish career to date. Even if he really isn't particularly good, he's at least interesting as a cricketer

Yeah for such a low importance role - he's a batting all-rounder who bats 7-8 and rarely bowls - he definitely has some interesting raw qualities. A fun Bazely.

So pleasing both to see Hunt continuing with his return to form and Manenti showing exactly he is so dangerous with the bat at this level

Long may it continue

Great to see Hunt with a 2nd hundred this year. Nice old fashioned 106 off 249 balls, made even better as he watched 3 golden ducks in first 3 balls not faced by him.

He's also snuck up to 4th on the Shield leading run scorers list, 1 run behind Konstas

If only him and Patterson had been in better form in the last couple of years, as their names would be screaming out for selection as things stand.

K'Pat is in some really good form. Pity he still can't convert those 50's.

Last 4 innings: 99, 71, 91, 66
