Ruthless by Spain. Don't think we'll be seeing Bronze moonlighting as a midfielder again this game.

The throw in that whole passage initially stemmed from was flagged our way initially…

Cracking finish tbh. Poor from Bronze though, went on a very strange run then made zero attempt to get back into position when she lost the ball.

Good game so far, Spain look comfortably better though a bit dodgy at the back

Yes but not helped by the left mid who had a load of space but stood still ball-watching.

Either way Spain far superior on and off the ball

Sounds fair. As others have said, it's hard to work out what Bronze was trying to achieve there, and she could easily have released the ball just before she ran into trouble and got back where she was supposed to be playing. Spain are better, but every now and again we create something. And both sides will remember this is how the quarter-final in the euros looked at one stage. I wonder how long Wiegman will wait before bringing James on. My guess is the 60 minute mark if we're still behind.

James comes on at the half - can she stamp her authority on the match?

Spain getting around the weakness of their back 4 by pressing high and winning possession in the English half.
