And on top of that, the bowling's been very ordinary. Payne the most wickets but at 9.7 an over, Boyce the most economical but averaging 43. Agar has been particularly poor. He's lost a heap of pace, going from high 130s-low 140s to low 130s without any accompanying improvement in control. Bazley is proving to be just a flash in the pan who's otherwise below even Big Bash standard too.

Their entire strategy revolved around Khan and there's not much else to spare. Crazy Agar was playing over Thornton though. Thornton has terrible days but is a real handful on a good one.
