From what I saw, the pitch didn't look overly dangerous and I was surprised that it was called off.

Anyone who recalls the W Indies v England test a few years back that was called off- now that was a dangerous pitch.

This day and age, its a shambles that a pitch isn't fit for purpose - really poor effort all round

Having two games scratched off in the space of a couple of days because covers were blown off by the mysterious hitherto unknown force called "wind" is pretty embarrassing for a cricketing nation as well-resourced as we are. Just buy some hover covers ffs.

I was going to say the same thing but I've said it so many times I didn't bother. It's just silly at this point.

I see that Perth traded Hatzoglou to the 'canes. I think he's a decent bowler for the BBL but an insane selection for Perth. Would have been best off with one of the Melbourne teams where the ball will dig into the pitch a bit. Won't play over Dooley.

Also does anyone know anything about Nikhil Chaudhary? Looks like an expat who played a few matches for Punjab a few years ago then settled in Brisbane, but no idea what his game's like.

I see Corey Anderson is in HH's squad, be interesting how he performs. Actually played pretty well in that recent American tournament which had no shortish of top talent. Crazy to think he's still only 32, thought he'd be mid 30s but had to remind myself he played in the same age group teams as KW.
