I think they kinda had to. getting enough runs to win by an innings was their best option. the problem was, as we've seen with NSW for years even when they do perform with the bat, they batted too slowly. I joked about Edwards, but one boundary in a 100 ball innings isn't really what NSW needed. Ditto Henriques and Gilkes but at least those two were batting earlier in the innings and had Hughes flying at the other endWonder why NSW batted so long in their first innings?
Feel really terrible for Pucovski because he's so talented and seems like such a nice guy but he has to give it up. CA can make sure he's looked after, as England did with James Taylor after his heart issue.
replace leonard nimoy with a cricket helmetThank God for helmets
every BBL fan knows deep down that it should be a Chris Green/Ben Manenti spin attack but noooo we have to pick nathan lyon, who has never even made a test 50. what are we doing here.Could he be the hero Australian cricket needs but does not deserve when it next tours the subcontinent?

Love that one dude saying that he needs to be in the test team over mitch marsh. Classic.
Cricinfo seem to be suggesting they will both play the next game, Rocchiccioli said as much when they spoke to himPretty crazy to think that Agar has gone from test team to no real fc future in his home state in about 12 months
I know he wasn’t playing much red ball stuff before that test but he’s miles behind Rocchixyz now
Literally just won the AB medal and is our highest averaging Test batsman in the last 10 gamesLove that one dude saying that he needs to be in the test team over mitch marsh. Classic.

Personally I wouldn't bother tbqh
YepWebster is the sort of funky selection Australia often makes on SC tours when they're looking for someone who can fill a few roles at once - a few meds, some overs of spin and try to tonk a few as well.
All sounds good until the bleeding obvious kicks in and everyone realizes said selection has never played in conditions anything like the SC before and gets reduced to passenger status with bat and ball.
Having said that I'm happy he's doing well and having such a good season.
I not really saying that if helmets weren't a thing then he'd probably be better off but maybe if helmets weren't a thing he'd have learned how to ****ing duck properly.Thank God for helmets
