Just said that Richardson is expected back for the next game. Seems a bit soon for a dislocated shoulder no?

Really don't think that Wylie should be batting 3 at this point in his career. Don't want to dent his confidence too much, but WA seems to be full of no. 5s.

Also just noticed that Hardie is missing - quad strain apparently.
out of curiosity, where would you bat him instead? he's been a top order bat his whole career essentially. I can get behind a path of batting lower and slowly moving his way up, however when he's been a 1-3 basically his entire career, such a change could be detrimental. Plus, he bats like a genuine top order stick anyway

Look up "missed a straight one" in the dictionary and you'll see a picture of Hilton Cartwright.

That was just bizarre

Yeah in the time Joel Paris has has made these 4 runs he probably would have taken 4 wickets if he was bowling

Webster stranded on 97.

Kinda his own fault imo, wanted to get back on strike desperately. Rainbird isn't useless with the stick, could have perhaps had a little more faith in him

So out of the 3 openers Vics have gone with Travis Dean as the one to bat 3. Strange choice he's the most opener-y one of them.

Probably because the other 2 both think they're going to be playing Test cricket as openers

Sounds like he may have been concussed in the warm up from what I heard, Kelleway is now listed in the team on the CA website

Tell you what, would have been long odds if someone said there would be a Vic bat out with concussion and it isn't Pucovski

In Pucovski's case he has been brained so many times that probably isn't far of being literally true tbf

But yeah, outside of him it does seem weird
