Yeah it wasThat was brutal from Doug. At the ground so not sure - was it him that Van Beek dropped?
CostlyYeah it was
Very, complete dolly of a catch.Costly
Good question. His last ODI was November 2018 at the beginning of Stead's tenure. I guess until now Guptill has been an automatic selection and they have had Munro, Latham, Seifert and Nicholls as other opening options. They have been giving Rutherford and Ravindra chances for the A team. I thought Worker looked ok in the international games he played. With all the talk about Guptill's poor form and opportunities at the top of the order, I'm surprised there hasn't been any talk on Worker. Been one of the batsmen of the tournament and has previous international experience where he didn't do much wrong.
Any particular reason for that? Age?
EDIT - and he gets out as I type this.
As Bahnz said, Bennett bowled pies to Bracewell in the last over. All the delivers were either gifts on leg stump or over pitched. Good hitting from Bracewell though.Missed watching that over, went away for a bit when CD were 130. Saw note they've got to 160+ that must have been some real good batting by Doug. Doug starting to make a come back of sorts now.
