2020/21 New Zealand Domestic Season

Was a bit bizarre from Bennett. Just kept going for the same around the wicket leg-stump line through the entire over even though it was obviously playing right into Bracewell's hands.

With all the talk about Guptill's poor form and opportunities at the top of the order, I'm surprised there hasn't been any talk on Worker. Been one of the batsmen of the tournament and has previous international experience where he didn't do much wrong.

Any particular reason for that? Age?

EDIT - and he gets out as I type this.
Good question. His last ODI was November 2018 at the beginning of Stead's tenure. I guess until now Guptill has been an automatic selection and they have had Munro, Latham, Seifert and Nicholls as other opening options. They have been giving Rutherford and Ravindra chances for the A team. I thought Worker looked ok in the international games he played.

Missed watching that over, went away for a bit when CD were 130. Saw note they've got to 160+ that must have been some real good batting by Doug. Doug starting to make a come back of sorts now.

As Bahnz said, Bennett bowled pies to Bracewell in the last over. All the delivers were either gifts on leg stump or over pitched. Good hitting from Bracewell though.

Don't know what Allen will get here but who in super smash bats like this at the top? Like be able to hit from ball one. Maybe Phillips and Ravindra but otherwise none. That's a great skill to have. Even if he gets 25 off 15 that's still good.

If Finn Allen bats 4-5 overs against this total of CD the game's over already.

ben sears and joey field are both those tall, skinny, weird looking kids with bird claw limbs who bowl way better than you'd think just looking at them before play.

When Finn Allen bats anything other than a four or six a ball is like a maiden for a bowler.

If black caps doesn't pick this guy before the end of the season I'd be so pissed off... He's hitting what's called the premier bowlers all over the park with such consistency.

Don't think any bowler is lining up to bowl to Finn Allen. Ajaz has been so good and he's taken to two fours in row.

I'm sure most of the country will be going for **** sakes wake up Steady, Kane and the rest of the management.
