Climbing up that ladder:D. In 19th place now...played my transfer wildcard, got lampard into my team, seems to have hit a rich vein of form.

I've played my wildcard, put 4 new players in my team. Worked out well, especially with Sharner scoring.

Lost about 20 points on transfers. Don't think it's time yet for using the wildcard.
The key in this game is to not lose ANY points from transfers, unless perhaps it's a week where you want to buy a couple players who are playing two games in the one week.

I played my wildcard this past week, done so many trades before finally settling on my squad. My squad is light on up front (Tevez, Chopra, Forssell) but good everywhere else.

Carragher loss isn't good for me - I don't trust Benitez enough to pick Agger or Finnan, so I just went for Geremi to free up some cash.

Definitely pleased with my current lead. :)

Mind you, it is doubtful whether I would actually get over the pain of Greenacre leaving enoguh to continue participating in a Fantasy league tbh.

Ah, great, i'm in then. Do points you've earned all ready carry over, or does it start from when you join?

EDIT: Just saw, they carry over.

Some good points being scored by the top half of the leaderboard, probably why there on top;p. Luke Johnson taking the most points scored this gameweek closely followed by George Pardoe, and Myles Hutchinson. The lowest score this week goes to a suprise package by the name of Martyn Corrin, in the top half of the leaderboard, narrowly beating Ethan Mcnamara, Craig Beevers and Thad Bochat. As far as my knowledge goes, Nutmegs in Fashion stay on top and have been so for some time, although their lead has been cut by 5 points. A gulf of 34 points still seperating him and his nearest contender. Things remained unchanged at the bottom, with team 452 and Bobisback forming the last two.

Tough stuff for last year's contenders, Dale Brumby and Craig Beevers languishing down at 13 and 20 respectively. One suspects that the injury to the Rooney, and the eloquently named 'Chavnaldo', may have hurt their chances. But one could be wrong.

A new champion may be crowned this season?

8th isn't bad for someone who was well adrift at the bottom after the first week.

Never had Rooney, but the winking Chav's suspension & now Fat Frank's thigh have cost me.

Still early days tho, Brian; it's a marathon not a sprint, at the end of the day.
