they will probably keep burns as he is one of few specialist openers, been fighting this 2nd innings in a winning side, and the other opener is a concussion prone youngster(not a test material - sheffield shield only). Pucovski has had 9 concussions in a young career, thats not international standard whatsoever
Burns currently is batting quite well here, his score is more than the entire indian team in this test(!)
travis head looks in line to be dropped for the returning david warner. He has been looking shakey throughout his career, not a convincing test match batsman at all.
Green stays for his bowling, can chip in with 15-20 economical overs of medium pace, thats big plus on a flat track. His batting at test level needs to be more patient.
for indians, gill and kl rahul will be included immediately for kohli (flying home) and prithvi. Prithvi will be dropped ASAP for his double failing, and his general poor form. Dont see prithvi as international standard post his injuries and ban. completely different player now. Surely pant deserves a look in, he's devastating with the bat. Can swap in pant for saha, keeping isnt that important as they keep way back.
rohit can only be included from test no.3.
Bowling wise, jadeja may not be fit yet and shami may be injured. So siraj comes in. Either way i dont see india winning a test match based on this form.
Aus's pace bowling attack is probably their best its ever been.
