Holding on is not new to them. They've been holding on to Starc and Lyon for a while.

There's only a marginal difference in Hazelwood and Starc's statistics but does anyone think Starc's ever been close to as good as him? The numbers have always grossly overstated Starc's quality.

There was a period of a few years where Hazlewood was actually kind of ineffective by his standards (bowled too short and too straight) and Starc was taking a lot of wickets.
