Hmm, not sure I've gone back and watched enough to say for sure but the fields were set for it this time and he used the line as an attacking option spinning it in to draw an inside edge to leg slip/short leg. Improved tactics from Dhoni's time.

I think the short mid wicket and the leg slip were more prevalent last tour than back then for sure but I haven't gone back and watched because why would you actively seek out replays of finger spinners.
