Weirdly, Curran still looks basically the same (just with a worse haircut now).
lmao not even sheepish about it. what a legend.
Not saying there's nothing obviously shady about his age, but I did go to school in Pakistan with someone from NWFP who had a full five o'clock shadow at 12 yo. Like, he'd make Rashid in this pic look babyfaced.
I can understand your sentiments but considering how SA played against Nepal , Bangladesh and WI , Afghanistan too would fancy their chances .It's been great fun watching Afghanistan progress this far and really happy for them, but I'm pretty sure their run is coming to an end here.
While you can't say enough good things about their bowling attack because it is world class, their batting really is quite atrocious.
The way they batted in such an important game against Bangladesh leaves me in not much doubt they'll suck even more in a match that will
produce even more pressure than the last game.
Hopefully they'll prove me wrong, but really thinking that Nortje and Rabada will gobble them up for breakfast.

Yeah look I really hope they do well, but it's hard to see them getting any decent runs on the board.I can understand your sentiments but considering how SA played against Nepal , Bangladesh and WI , Afghanistan too would fancy their chances .

SA have won a lot of close games that have largely not mattered - they can undoubtedly choke in one of these when it does. It's been great fun watching Afghanistan progress this far and really happy for them, but I'm pretty sure their run is coming to an end here.

Nah I think the newness of the occasion and all the permutations surrounding qualification got to them. I expect them to be a little more expressive in the semi and finals (*)It's been great fun watching Afghanistan progress this far and really happy for them, but I'm pretty sure their run is coming to an end here.

Thing is, they don't need to make many more than 130 to stand a really solid chance of cutting through SA. AFG have a genuinely potent attack now especially for these sticky-swingy conditions. Chasing may be trickier.Yeah look I really hope they do well, but it's hard to see them getting any decent runs on the board.
yeah but did they also have a widow's peak 6 years laterNot saying there's nothing obviously shady about his age, but I did go to school in Pakistan with someone from NWFP who had a full five o'clock shadow at 12 yo. Like, he'd make Rashid in this pic look babyfaced.
Would be more than happy to wage with you anything from $10 to $200,000.Nah I think the newness of the occasion and all the permutations surrounding qualification got to them. I expect them to be a little more expressive in the semi and finals (*)
Really ??SA have won a lot of close games that have largely not mattered - they can undoubtedly choke in one of these when it does.
Be amazed if the tournament winner doesn't come out of the Guyana semi...
