Couldn't agree more.

As is this pretense that Trent Boult is suddenly Akram 2.0, and that he's even odds of ripping 4-5 Indian poles within the first 10 overs.
I mean, it’s not like he hasn’t done exactly this against India more than once in the past 6 months alone.

There's really no excuse for NZ not to get to 250 minimum IMO. Two recognised batsmen at the wicket needing 39 off 23 to achieve that. I'm quietly hoping we're an outside chance of 260, which would mean 49 off 23, which is a taller order, but by no means out of the realms.

@ Flem - disagree on par being 270, I'd say between 280-290, meaning we're about 20-30 if we get around that 250-260 figure.
39 off 23 not having your eye in any more against two excellent death bowlers, would be amazing. 49 is surely out of reach. Personally anything over 240 would be decent.

Was lucky that I chose to sleep instead of watching most of the NZ batting yesterday. I think the article on stuff.co.nz about our batting being boring asf is just so accurate. Our bowlers will have to save us if we are go get through. Anyways, go the Blackcaps!

Did you listen to Stead on Guptill over the weekend? "If he digs in, trusts his technique the runs will begin to flow"

This guy is out of his depth. Hell just give us a seperate coach for the limited overs team. I can't put up with his gameplans anymore.
I didn't, but whereas you and I don't always agree on everything, we certainly agree on Stead. I think you or someone said it, if Stead was around in peak ****y McCullum, Vettori, Oram etc days he'd have been white-anted within the first week. I'd sooner have Andy Moles back.

Kohli has won every single game in the history of cricket ever when chasing, as they keep telling us.

It could be a bit of a one sided damp squid for the neutral and the kiwi.

This is rather shocking.

The guy who's probably the most proven failure in test cricket ever (sorry Guppy), told to dig in and trust his technique and the runs will flow.

This making new Zealand face 4 overs today is a farce. Should have closed their innings with dls and made India chase.
