The irony is that neither Steve Waugh nor Shane Warne, the two heroes of the 99 WC didn't get another shot at a world cup.

... Tbf, with the spin on offer, batting has looked quite difficult.
Tbf, NZ have seen enough of Jadeja over the years to think of some options to score at > 3 rpo against him.

Reminds me of the mid 90s when we had no answer to Sohail's left arm darts.

Yea I knew the world class cake would come in and choke the innings with his overbalancing technique especially against spin. Keep him out there alap.

PS Prepared to taste.

Is it worth sending CdG or Henry (to hit out, if he gets out no loss) in next?

Worth the punt???

Ross has so not batted like the 2nd-most-successful-batsman-in-the-world-since-2015 in the last 3 games, picked the wrong opponents too.

I'm out and about and missing this. What's happening? Great bowling... Difficult pitch?
spinning deck. Bhuvi and Bumrah were very good with the new ball, Chahal and Jadeja very good after that. NZ trying their best to not lose any wickets, but seem to have gone into their shell.

Two boundaries in that over will break the shackles tho. NZ might start finding the fence more frequently now, especially since the Pandya and Bhvui will be replacing the spinners.
