But he's indias starcThey dropped Shami! Assholes, I hope they lose badly here.
If the conditions are cloudy Bhuvi might just enjoy himself. Jadeja is a good pick however, NZ have had their issues against him in the past and he definitely shores up an unreliable middle order.Bhuveshwar and Jadeja in the attack is interesting. Could go sideways very quickly.
It's a blunt comparison, but ODI averages opening:
Latham: 38.0
Nicholls: 22.6
ODI averages at number 5:
Latham 30.4
Nicholls: 55.0
Not quite sure how we ended up with Nicholls opening and Latham at 5.
I am very surprised that Latham averages that high as an opener as he was rightly dropped from the position after looking poor there for a while. I prefer him in the middle order and he was fantastic in that series in India, though I didn't realise quite how weak his record had been in the last 18 months. If he's not performing at 5 I'd drop him rather than put him back up to opener.Because Latham in that tour of India a year or so back showed himself to be brilliant at milking spin relatively risk-free in the middle overs, hence why they wanted to stick with him at 5. Who knew he'd go through such a rough period of form.
He's more our Henry than our Starc but anyways it's criminal to drop him because Bhuvi sucks. But he's indias starc
Yeah I was having a dig at *****He's more our Henry than our Starc but anyways it's criminal to drop him because Bhuvi sucks.
Well you see, they'd have prefered to bat first last match, so therefore should opt do that today...I just feel our whole approach in this World Cup has been off.
Winning the toss and batting under grey skies smells of captaining by numbers.
I'm pretty down on all this. I hope they prove me wrong and are not bowled out for <220.
