Rubbish, Mendis is a bad call to bowl at the end and he had his success late in the innings, two overs prior to the powerplay. Should he have bowled Mendis sooner? Maybe but impossible to know it would be his day.

Herath may still get an over.

Mathews overs in the middle were chewed up by bowling Herath for so many so early.

I never said Mendis should bowl at the death.

Mathews never bowls more than 6-7. That logic has stopped making sense for more than a year now. He just refuses to bowl more that 6 overs.
