As much as I want NZ to beat Aus tomorrow, I don't like the thought of us bowling to AB at Eden Park in the semi.
True, although at semi final stage it's not supposed to be easy, so if AB gets away & they beat us ..fair play to them.

I would find it very depressing if we struck them in a quarter though for some reason, fortunately for both sides, that looks unlikely now.

Touch harsh mate. Where exactly could they have bowled to the guy?

He was picking the slower balls, lapping/reverse sweeping yorkers, smashing anything short & moving across the crease when they tried bowling full & wide outside off.

Not saying it was great from the Windies, but sometimes you need to stand up and acknowledge amazing batsmanship.
Those last two overs from Holder in particular were dreadful, just length bowling at 130k.

Not every ball was length. I'm not saying it was great bowling in the last couple, but he did actually try some yorkers which AB lapped as well as a couple of slower balls.

Let's not forget AB had smashed every other variation they'd tried up until then, so it's not like Holder had too many other options up his sleeve.

NZ have to own the fact that they are one of the favorites.. you can't hide from the best teams when you get to the semis.

Had AB come in to bat 2 balls later, would have been only the second time in ODI history that a batsman coming in to bat after 30th over scored a 100. No surprises that he did it the first time.
