I don't see them beating Australia tomorrow, and they got murdered by them in the 2015 world cup, so not even making the semis in your own country is poor I'm.

Pakistan have been doing it at home, I really don't think they'll be up to much when they start travelling away
Neither do I, their batting unit is pretty mediocre technically. Bowlers keep doing stupid things and getting banned and stuff.

India may or may not win tomorrow, don't see how you can call a team who have consistently done well (at least par) in recent ICC events mediocre though. Not making SF in a home WC would be a disappointing result though, yes.

Yeah one more wicket cheaply and they won't even get near 100 haha.

I seriously hate that Jordan wears a gold chain to play, he's representing the country and if makes him look like a chav

Yeah India are clearly a good limited overs side and not really worse than Eng/Aus/SA as a test side.

Don't really fancy facing England, finishing 2nd and taking WI on might be a bit of a blessing in disguise.

Plunkett has been sensational so far this T20 WC and gives us much more variety with the ball. Pace, bounce and a good yorker.

Pakistan will be trashed in test cricket once Misbah and Younis retire. Younis is a gun test player, but he has not left the SC for ages, the England and Aussie tours may be very hard for him at his age. Misbah I suspect will retire after the England series unless he has an absolute stormer.

Will keep seam on for at least another over after this Plunkett one. Get the RR above 11 then go to spin.

Already, what, 5 or 6 wides? We're in a great position but every match we do this and it's criminal.

Yeah, I was going to mention that.

Sri Lanka probably bowled better during the opening 8 overs than England have. So it shows how good the batting actually was.

Not too bothered about the odd bouncer wide, the big leg side wides are crap mind and the fivers are always a great bonus for the batting side.

Ultimately you can bowl a crap leg side ball and go for a wide, or it can get clipped for 4 and not go down as a wide. So the wide is preferable in that respect.

Willey and Jordan are good for 4 wides at least per innings and with few bumpers one or two are bound to sneak over head height.

So what are the Lankans plans from here? Milk the spinners for 6-8 an over up to over 15 and then try and go for it?

Edit: or maybe hit the spinners out of the ground...........

6-8 runs in an over was a draw earlier but they're a win for England at this point. Out of time to mess about.
