12th Match - India v New Zealand

slowfinger

International Regular
didn't look like NZ had a game plan against the spin to be honest and just hoped they'd keep up with the rate some how

That's game over you would think with Williamson gone.

Australia need to start practicing against spin, they will be facing a lot of it in their semi final.

Yeah this is it. That KW dismissal just now.
He’ll probably get criticism for the scoring rate but I thought that was a class innings from KW on a tricky pitch, let down by his team mates’ inability to answer any of the questions posed by India’s attack.
Indeed.

The match has played out pretty similar, with one difference between India's innings and NZ.
Each innings had one guy actually get past 50
Each innings had 4 batsmen get starts
India had two guys who scored 40-odd, while NZ didn't (unless we get some miracles from Santner and Henry here)

Moss

International Captain
That’s surely enough for the MoM award. Been all over NZ like a rash today.

Well done India. Read the pitch better for the bowling and tactics a bit better than we did. Very tight bowling overall. Hoping they smash Australia and we get a rematch for the final.

I thought Jamieson started out as an all-rounder. Pretty surprised to see him bat at no.10
I think a couple of good innings from him early in his career gave everyone the wrong impression. A useful number 8 like Cummins perhaps, but no more.
