12th Match - India v New Zealand

Mitchell v Varun is a bit lunge forward and hope at the moment, with the sweep being cut off. Definitely a battle for him.

King Kane

International Vice-Captain
The Indian spinners have put the brakes on the scoring, especially when Mitchell is on strike

So it’ll Jadeja and Kuldeep to contend with, when there’s a need to get on with it. Interesting match ahead for sure.

You get the feeling this is a pitch you never really get "in" on and you're reliant on loose ones from the bowler for boundaries.

NZ and India probably the only teams as well who have got the spin/pace balance right in their lineups (maybe Afghanistan as well).

Not an easy chase by any means, and makes for a much more watchable game than most of the ones played in PAK. But I think India ending up with 250 is a testament to how well NZ bowled, about 15-20 more would probably be par and *really* allow India to turn the screws.

NZ's CT hopes are still alive. Avoid Australia and they're in with a serious chance. Looks like thats Kane's plan as well

Fighting half century, though I can imagine a lot of discussion about the S/R. Needs Latham to take on some of the scoring load.
