I think it would effect him to an extent as he's walking out to bat or when he's in the filed, as he's quite sensitive. But once he's at the crease he's so aspy he's just in his own bubble and probably doesn't hear a thing,

I meant he's not the most fluent batsman to watch in any case.

I suppose what makes him so much better than a Root or a Kohli is that he can string together a scratchy innings like today when out of nick.

Dunno about that, but if he bats to the 50th he'll make a ton and there'll be something to bowl at. These runs won't do NCN's confidence any harm either. Hits it clean when he connects. Been jammy AF though.
