Not quite sure what you're saying, but I think you misunderstood me because it doesn't make any sense in the context

edit: I'll clarify, the "taint" would be a result of winning the trophy, yet knowing there's a team that could have been better and more deserving yet didn't get a chance due to weather

Australia should have selected Khawaja in the squad and played both him and Lynn today. As it stands, Finch is a flat track bully who will get found out by any movement in the air or off the pitch and the lineup is 1.5 specialist batsmen short. England should be able to scythe through this batting lineup
