Nah, apparently Onions was the only guy to perform badly in NZ so he's no good mate.

Snow or Larwood at Perth would be handy.

For Aus, I'd like to see one of the mid-1980s guys playing instead of Harris.

Not really ashes specific but of England players I have ever seen I have really started to miss Graham Thorpe the last couple of years.
Yes, he'd be perfect alongside KP and Bell.

On a related point, our batting over the last couple of years ad me wondering about a debate that used to take place about whether the current generation really are so much better than the 1990's crop - Atherton, Stewart, Hussain, Thorpe and Smith to maybe name the best of them - considering the attacks that England used to face in those days. Another time, maybe.
