i agree its a lot to pay for a kid, but if he fullfils his potential he could score 300 premier league goals for a club in theory....
its the type of gamble a club like man utd can affordto pay IMO...

but what about his potential, isnt that worth something? i agree the fee being suggested is well beyond what it should be, especially considering how much the transfer market has deflated in the last 2-3 seasons, but if a team is willing to pay that much for him, good on everton for taking advantage of it. BUT THEY SHOULD HAVE SOLD LAST WEEK!

i told cloete my feelings on that before, monaco should be able to attract the calible of players like morientes and saviola on loan, why dont they do something about getting some kind of juniors structure going....

I think Porto will hang in there with Chelsea...PSG are getting killed in the French League, I think CSKA Moscow might be more of a challenge providing they're not booted from the comp.

PSV & Ajax have lost alot of players over the close season. PSV lost their 2 key players in Kezman & Robben to Chelsea..I think they'll struggle.

If Celtic had managed to sign Saviola..I might have given them a shot at pipping Barcelona..but I think it's fairly doubtful they'll progress, they won't be able to break down the Milan defence & it's doubtful they'll be able to hold out against Barca.

PSV will be ok, we have replaced kezman and robben strongly, van bommell hasnt moved to dortmund yet, so we're gonna be right.....
