No it's not. Isn't it a bit obvious that the sky is red and the horizon is blue and the sky is black and the horizon is green??

Use your brains people. *Shakes head*

Sky this, horizon that... the future winners of the 25Smash will be the same as those that won it last season. CW Green all the way. :D

Green are full of the worst cricketer's available in CW land... I'm sick and tired of their pitiful attempts to sound patriotic to their team when deep down they know they're weak and can't keep good play up for a whole season

How many times have you been beaten by the worst cricketers available in CW Land, then? Are you saying you've been fixing matches!?

Note: CW Red Management do not endorse this kind of comment.

I really thought it wasn't rocket science to expect the specialist bowlers to bowl.

Next time do I need to specify where everyone sits in the dressing room, and what goes on Mike's sandwiches?
As Daniel said, so it is.

ATM I haven't found a better sim that allows 25-over games. I considered VC4, but then recalled the various results of 16 all out and whatnot that it has produced in WCC.

25 Smash

CW Green v CW Red
at the CW Oval

Red pulled off a thrilling and highly unlikely victory against Green at the Oval. Chasing 161 for victory, the Reds looked out of it needing 50 runs off the last 18 balls, but somehow managed to get home with 6 wickets in hand. The rally started with 11 off Malone's final over and the 23rd of the innings. The target was then reduced to 39 off 12 balls. Cunningham was entrusted with the 24th over, having taken a wicket in his last over and bowled economically to the point.

He was dispatched for 20 runs and Red was barely still in it. The equation was a huge ask of 19 runs off the final over, and Nathan Hoy returned to bowl it.

24.1 Hoy to Iyer, FOUR, That's beaten short fine leg and runs away!!! 15 off 5...
24.2 Hoy to Iyer, SIX, Smashed WAAAAAY back!!! Sensational! 9 off 4...
24.3 Hoy to Iyer, two runs, Run down to third man and excellent push for the second... 7 off 3...
24.4 Hoy to Iyer, three runs, Excellent running 3 more. 4 off 2...
24.5 Hoy to Stedman, no run, SWING and a MISS!!! That could be huge!! 4 needed off the last ball....!........
24.6 Hoy to Stedman, SIX, HE'S WON IT!!!!!!! The crowd goes insane!!!

Man of the Match: KN Iyer

---

CW Black v CW Blue
at the PDV Dome

A comfortable win for Black as the batsmen put the game out of the reach of Blue having been inserted. Loc and Chaulk were aggressive at the top, but it was explosive play of David Kearsley at the end that really pushed things home.

Chasing 183, Fitzsimmons and Cloete were out cheaply once more and Jellett and deSilva played impressively at the end, the mountain was too high, Black victors by 27 runs.

Man of the Match: AC Loc

We're lucky our batting goes deep because we made a mess of it. As for the bowling, well... two 39 off 12 balls and we should have had them right there. But full credit to Iyer and Steds of CW Red, they held it together and they pulled off the big runs in ways that it looks like we never really were able to do. Feeney high scored for us with 49 and even he only managed six boundaries off 46 balls. We should be more aggressive with the bat so we don't even give them a remote hope. How many did we take off our last over while batting, Liam?

Sad, though. We should have done better. Even playing field though, now, so the 25Smash competition is definitely proving to be interesting...

However I'm still extremely confident in our players capabilities and think we're the best team in the comp.

You do have the option of setting which bowlers you would not like to bowl. When you pick a team full of players who can bowl fairly well... there ya go.

unlucky Greens we lost the hole game in 3 overs, plenty of starts in the batting to but no one really going on with it myself included, we can and will bounce back boys.
