    Damien Martyn Opening

I think you're right. He's just too off side orientated. He looks like a million dollars when he cuts through point or behind point, but he gives up so many catches there. He never keeps the ball down when he cuts. It's pretty obvious that you bowl wide of off, put in your catchers and wait...

    Damien Martyn Opening

I think you might be right. If he can get close to a 50 I think he'll hang on, I don't think he needs a ton to stay on.

    Katich call up

don't get me wrong, I'm a big Marto fan, but he's not playing that well at the moment (not that he's alone)...I know he's had bad luck but eventually as number 4 bastman you've got to step up and show the world what you've got to offer every so often otherwise people forget...Gilchrist has...

    Adam Gilchrist

Gilchrist's score was big, the s/r was big, but it was still pretty cheap overall. Zimbabwe is at best second or third rate - a state team would have been more competition. All the perma-dick riders are out saying 'Gilli's a champ!'...yeah, where's his big ton against India? The only form...

    Any pressure on Damien Martyn?

What's all this noise about scoring centuries? Consistency is more important. Martyn apparently had a terrible series against India, yet his average in the series is about 50...hmmm. He looked to be about to score a century before that Steve Waugh run out. And anyway, if he's out of form like...
